New research engineer with interest in bioeconomy

Ali Amirjani is a newly graduated Master of Science in Engineering (MSE) from KTH and has started with us as a research and development engineer within the Process and Materials Technology group. This is how Ali writes about himself:

My name is Ali Amirjani and I work with cellulose activation. I have long been interested in the bioeconomy and the processing of forest raw materials into innovative products. Last autumn I wrote my thesis at RISE in Stockholm in pulp and bleaching technology with a focus on AOX and lightness stability. I have a background in chemical engineering from KTH and in addition to my studies I have also worked at DS Smith and Billerud.

I am grateful for the welcoming and inclusive environment at MoRe Research, it has been fun to start in a highly skilled workplace with well-equipped labs and advanced pilot facilities.
