With a new fire and explosion-proof classified laboratory (ATEX) MoRe now has the possibility to perform advanced pilot trials, e.g. within the bio refinery field.
The laboratory has been built with permanent suction at the floor and at the roof in order to be able to handle both light and heavy gases. There is also spot suction to be used when required. A safety hatch opens automatically already at 0.2 bar overpressure. The sewage system can be shut down so that the room is completely gas tight when trials so require.
Different extractions and process simulations where explosive gases or fluids are formed are some of the trials which may be performed. We will not have any stationary pilot equipment in the laboratory, what is needed will be brought in for the different trials. This is a flexible and from a working environment point of view correct way to use the laboratory for a wide range of trials.
With this new laboratory we take yet another step in our development to offer our clients even more advanced bio refinery related experiments and trials. This opens many possibilities for us to help customers develop new products and processes.
