Interesting lectures from RISE at the 11th Nordic Wood Biorefinery Conference

The 11th Nordic Wood Biorefinery Conference takes place on 15-17 October 2024 in Örnsköldsvik, the city where companies and mills in the forest industry breathe biorefinery. This year the theme of the conference is from Science to transition. Stefan Svensson and Claudia Solou Quineche are two of the lecturers from RISE.

Stefan Svensson speaks at NWBC 2024 with the title Biogenic carbon flows - A rough diamond with great potential. Thursday 17 October at 10.10 he will be on stage to develop the value of biogenic carbon during the session System analysis – Environmental and economic process design & Digitalization and AI.

Claudia Salou Quineche, industrial doctoral candidate for Umeå University and RISE subsidiary MoRe Research, lectures at NWBC during the session Policy and programs for biorefinery advancement & Novel uses of side-streams. Her lecture is entitled Analysis of wood and bark of spruce-bark-beetle-infested Norway spruce and industrial implications.
