Bending resistance
MoRe can measure bending resistance with constant deflection rate of paper and cardboard according to ISO 2493-1. This is a two-point loading method with ranges 20-10,000 mN. Not suitable for corrugated board, but parts of it can be measured. The bending angle is 15° and the bending length is 50 mm. 10 mm bending length can be used for weaker materials. But results from different bending lengths are not comparable. Materials that get a permanent bend at 15° can be used at 7.5°.
Preparation: Before testing, sample handling takes place according to ISO 186 and conditioning according to ISO 187 and ISO 536 surface weight.
