Mirror gloss measurement is performed on paper and cardboard according to ISO 8254 with different angles. We have a converging beam of 20 and 75 degrees to the paper surface. The method is well suited for coated products and supercalendered materials. But it is not suitable for reflective surfaces.
Preparatory work: Before testing, sample handling takes place according to ISO 186 and conditioning according to ISO 187.
