Klemm's method
Klemm's method – capillary rise
This method measures the water absorption capacity of uncoated paper and board such as tissue paper and other products with high absorption capacity. Not suitable for material less than 5 mm (refers to Cobb ISO 535).
Preparatory work:
Before testing, sample handling takes place according to ISO 186 and conditioning according to ISO 187. The water used in the analysis is based on ISO 3696.
