Viscose pilot

The viscose pilot consists of six parts which together correspond to an authentic production process.

  1. Mercerising where alkali cellulose is formed
  2. A press to remove the liquor
  3. A shredder in order to have a large cellulose surface
  4. Pre-aging
  5. Xanthation
  6. Dissolving

The capacity is five times as big compared to our smaller pilot and from 100 g of cellulose we will have 1 kg of viscose dope, enough for several trials in the spinning pilot. The fact that we have two pilots in two different sizes gives us great flexibility for customer orders.
